THL Construction Management
Navy-and-amber WordPress with a crane-photo hero and a bold question headline.
A WordPress + Elementor site for a Toronto construction management firm — built to communicate deep capability to developers who need a partner, not a contractor.
The Brief
THL Construction Management has spent a decade doing something most construction management firms avoid advertising: rescuing projects. In ten years, THL has completed over 50 projects across Ontario — residential and commercial developments totalling hundreds of millions of dollars — and built a particular reputation for stepping into situations that are behind schedule, over budget, or stuck in municipal approvals, and finding a way through. Their clients are small-to-mid-sized developers who often lack in-house construction expertise and need a partner who integrates quickly, assesses accurately, and delivers without drama.
Bryka built thlcm.ca on WordPress with Elementor to position THL for the clients who actually need them. The brief was capability over volume: a site that communicates the depth of THL's experience — including their track record on major Toronto developments and their expertise in affordable housing and CMHC financing — without the generic "we build things" positioning that every construction management website defaults to. Developers evaluating a construction management partner don't make fast decisions, and the site needed to hold up to that kind of scrutiny.

A Portfolio That Shows Scale, Not Just Sector
Construction management portfolios tend to be photo galleries with project names and completion dates — useful for confirmation, useless for evaluation. A developer considering THL for a $50M project needs to know more than that THL has done projects like it before. They need to understand THL's role, the project's complexity, what was at stake, and what THL brought to it. We built a portfolio architecture that makes that case: project-level pages with enough detail on scope, value, and THL's specific contribution that a developer evaluating fit has something to actually evaluate. The result is a portfolio that works as due diligence material, not just a credentials slide.

The Rescue Capability Is The Differentiator — So We Led With It
Most construction management firms position around the beginning of a project. THL also positions around the middle of one — when things have gone wrong and a developer needs someone who can walk onto a troubled site, assess the situation honestly, and implement a recovery plan without losing another six months in the process. That's a rare and genuinely valuable capability, and it tends to attract exactly the kind of client THL is best suited to serve. We built a dedicated section of the site around this positioning — specific enough to be credible, direct enough to reach a developer who is, at that moment, looking for exactly this.
Affordable Housing Expertise That Speaks The Right Language
Affordable housing development in Ontario involves a specific set of complexities: CMHC loan programs, municipal approval processes, funding conditions, and timeline requirements that differ materially from market-rate development. THL has deep experience navigating all of it. We built a section of the site that speaks directly to this sector in the language developers and housing organizations actually use — not a generic "we do affordable housing too" addition, but a substantive explanation of THL's specific capabilities that establishes credibility with the housing developers, non-profits, and public agencies who need a construction management partner who already knows the landscape.
